Serinol: Shaping the future of water through innovation

For more than three decades, Serinol has been developing advanced technologies dedicated to water and waste pre-treatment. Founded in 1990, the independent French company combines engineering expertise, research capabilities and industrial manufacturing to design solutions that improve the management and treatment of gray and dark water.

Operating at the intersection of research and industry, Serinol integrates R&D, prototyping and production on the same site, enabling the rapid development of innovative technologies. Through this multidisciplinary approach, the company contributes to addressing one of the most critical environmental challenges of our time: protecting and managing water resources.

When Serinol approached Think Green, the ambition was to reveal the full scope of their expertise and reposition the company as a forward looking innovator within the water solutions ecosystem.

From industrial manufacturer to innovation driven water partner

Although Serinol had built a strong reputation in engineering and manufacturing, its public image remained largely associated with industrial equipment production.

Behind this perception, however, lay a much broader value chain. Through its dedicated research and development activities, Serinol was not only manufacturing machines but actively designing and developing new technological solutions for water treatment.

The challenge for Think Green was therefore to shift the narrative. The objective was not simply to modernize the brand, but to reposition Serinol as an innovation driven company contributing to the future of water management. This required expanding the perception of the company from a purely industrial manufacturer to a technology and research partner serving environmental challenges.

Revealing innovation through brand and narrative

Our approach focused on redefining the way Serinol communicates its expertise and impact. Rather than emphasizing only manufacturing capabilities, we worked to highlight the broader innovation ecosystem that drives the company’s work.

We developed a refreshed brand identity and communication framework capable of reflecting both the precision of engineering and the environmental purpose behind the technologies. Sophisticated visual storytelling was introduced to elevate the perception of industrial manufacturing, combining powerful imagery of engineering processes with vibrant representations of nature.

This dual narrative allowed Serinol to express a clear vision: technology and research working together to protect water resources. By repositioning the company within a wider chain of value, from research and development to industrial deployment, the brand now communicates its role as a key actor in water innovation.

To support this strategic shift, Think Green developed a comprehensive communication ecosystem designed to express the renewed identity of Serinol across all touchpoints.

This included the redesign of the brand identity, the creation of a new website and the development of sales and presentation tools aligned with the new positioning. A digital strategy and ongoing content creation were also implemented to strengthen Serinol’s voice and highlight its expertise and commitment to water solutions.

Through this integrated approach, Serinol’s communication now reflects the full scope of its capabilities, from engineering precision to environmental responsibility. The brand has evolved from an industrial manufacturer into a visible and credible innovator within the global water solutions landscape.
