Founded in the wake of Tunisia’s 2011 revolution, the Almadanya foundation is a Tunisian NGO committed to empowering the country’s youth.
Following Tunisia’s 2011 revolution, the country stood at a crossroads, with its youth representing both its greatest challenge and greatest opportunity. Almadanya’s founder, Lotfi Maktouf – the Tunisian philanthropist, writer, international lawyer, and former senior counselor at the International Monetary Fund – envisioned an organization that could transform his country’s youthful potential into tangible progress, but needed support to elevate his foundation’s brand to the next level.
Think Green worked with the foundation to elevate Almadanya’s brand position and increase the scale and scope of its impact. Our team partnered with Almadanya to develop a comprehensive brand strategy, design a new identity, and implement a communications plan to would establish and develop valuable networks and partnerships with Tunisian donors and partners.
Leveraging our deep international experience driving strategic communications, culture, and humanitarian-focused campaigns, we developed a branding and communications strategy designed to inspire action, engage stakeholders, and build trust.
To build trust, Think Green strategically supported the establishment of networks and partnerships among Tunisian citizens, businesses, and foreign donors. By identifying and cultivating influential champions, we created a virtuous cycle: respected voices validated Almadanya’s mission, which attracted partners, which helped increase impact, which in turn attracted more substantial and sustainable support.
In close collaboration with local municipalities and key government ministries, Think Green positioned Almadanya as a credible catalyst for youth development, securing commitment from strategic organizational and private sector partners who have evolved into the foundation’s most significant financial supporters.
Through our work, Almadanya built critical relationships, developed strong networks, and secured key partnerships with Tunisian citizens, businesses, and global donors such as Tunisair, Tunisie Telecom, BNA Bank, Microsoft, the Westminster School, EFE, and others.
